We are a group of 11 elderly residents aged between 75 and 85 years old, plus one live in carer aged 55, that have received a ‘No Fault Eviction’ . This is devastating at the ages they are; to be facing homelessness. Most are not computer literate. Most are aged pensioners living fortnight to fortnight.
Three evictees have been fortunate to find alternative accommodation, however there are still 8 people that have not been so lucky. Private rental properties are unaffordable and would cause financial suicide.
We are already struggling to continue with life. What are we to do?
We have been referred to so many government agencies only to be left feeling abandoned and alone; “Better off dead”.
I know we are not alone. There are so many homeless people and people struggling to make ends meet. What has happened to our country?
The Government have NO IDEA & DO NOT Live in the real world.
People are now slaves for the Government and live like peasants.
NOT GOOD ENOUGH. WAKE UP. YOU ARE KILLING THE PEOPLE THAT BUILD OUR FUTURE!
