We have been renting in this country for 30 years now. It's been good, bad & now down right ugly! We are a small business of 6 years with a reasonable income, but it's being milked like a cash cow for the highest rent payments in history! Our rent has increased $300 a week in the last 3 years! We started at $530, now it's $830 a week! As a result, we are breaking a lease for the first time in our lives, for the need to find more affordable accommodation. So then, in true parasitic leech style, the Real Estate sends us a $3320 Break Lease Fee to be paid before we move out!. That fee totally contradicts why we are breaking the lease in the first place! We CAN'T afford it! Since the lease break, we've had 3 viewing inspections for prospective tenants. They are not looking to provide a family with a home, it's obvious they are looking for the next business owners, aka Cash Cows, they can milk the most out of!
