My partner and I have been renting this place for years now. We are on centrelink and have been waiting for public housing for 10+ years now the rent keeps going up and there is next to money. We eat about 1 good meal a day other then that we don't really eat much. Can't get any help because services are backed up by weeks. After bills and rent we have less then $20 to our name to live on for the week. Electricity we are behind $1500. We are terrified we will be homeless by the end of the year we actually can't afford to live anymore. Have to afterpay food cause we are hungry have to afterpay necessities like deodorant vitamins toothpaste because we can't afford it in our shop. We need help we are lucky then most as we have a roof over our head but we are getting to the point we can't afford it anymore.
